Trusted Information Sharing

Support for the warfighter in the 21st century must allow us to selectively share information rapidly – but securely – with our coalition partners.  Referentia is developing solutions to enable rapid formation of Communities of Interest (COIs), along with agile networking technologies that support coalition information exchange and provide the ability to dynamically change information access policies when needed.  Specific solutions and approaches to trusted information sharing include:

Dynamic Network Security & Multi-Enclave Identity Management

  • Reducing the network infrastructure through agile Virtual Private Networks (VPNs)
  • Leveraging thin client technologies to provide maximum performance at minimized costs across multiple security domains
  • Enabling rapid set up and tear down of coalition enclave networks
  • Single 3-factor sign-on coupled with derived data labeling & encryption
  • Cross-enclave authentication and identity management solutions
  • Enterprise-level user login authentication and network authorization

Coalition Data Exchange

  • Coalition Information Sharing and multi-security-level Networking
  • Implementation of the Command and Control Information Exchange Data Model (C2IEDM) standard.  C2IEDM is supported by 26 countries, championed by DISA, and has been endorsed as the foundation for the both Army and Marine Corps information exchange standard for Battle Command
  • Expansion of the C2IEDM model beyond strictly military operations, to first responders, other federal agencies, and any place where automated command and control data transfer is needed
  • C2IEDM-based alerting capabilities to support decision superiority
  • Integrated target management solutions to enable data fusion of targeting and C2 information
